Matthew 16:15 (NLT) Then he asked them, "But who do you say I am?"
With this message today I want to really bless someone who may be being held back by the bondage of who you were in the past. I want to tell that you are walking NOW into the fullness of who God created you to be. And in doing so there are some from your past that may intended through guilt and condemnation to keep you from getting there. But today you have to know that your forgiveness is final and your redemption in Christ is complete. Don't let other people's opinions and criticism keep you stuck being the person God never intended you to be. The enemy through the words of other people will be quick to point your past mistakes, attitudes, and behaviors. There are some people in your life that can STILL only see you through the filter of your past. They have no clue who you are but it is because they have no clue of who they are.
There were people close to Jesus Christ that didn't know who He was either.
Matthew 16:13-14 (NLT)
When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?"
"Well," they replied, "some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets."
In Matthew 9:34 the Pharisees even accused him of being associated with the devil.
So I want to tell those of you reading this today don't be alarmed, shocked, or even hurt by people that don't know you and want to assassinate the work the Holy Spirit is doing in your life.
The ones that should be able to see the change, the growth and the difference are the very ones that don't see it. You just have to forgive them, continue to love them but keep moving forward. Never allow their spiritual blindness to stop how you see yourself. There is a mighty work taking place in your heart, soul and spirit.
I want to remind you today to confess the powerful word of God.
Philippians 1:6 (NLT) And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Be Blessed, Manie

Dealing with you
Proverbs 23:7 (AMP) For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. This is a message that I have given time and time again and it always does our spirit GOOD to hear it again so here goes.
There is this song by a older group called the The Emotions and the song is called What do the Lonely Do At Christmas. The truth of the matter is that it the song is sung beautifully with really touching lyrics BUT..
the lyrics are so SAD. I brought this up because so many people this holiday season feel this same way. The think that without the one they love there is no need for Christmas. The real reason for Christmas is to celebrate the birth of our ONE and ONLY living Saviour. Read Luke 2:10 We have to know that being along doesn't mean being lonely. We are NEVER alone because God says He wouldn't never leave us nor forsake us and that HE would be with us wherever we go. I can hear some of you saying but that is different I need someone REAL here with me flesh on flesh.. Yet the truth is GOD is as real as it ever gets for us. He is spirit and HE connects with the realest part of us and that is our spirits. The truth whether we feel like it or not is that God is more than enough and when you trust this then you are ready for someone else. It only when we are made whole and free that we are able to love and give to others what we ourselves have in the first place. Adam was in the garden chillin' and it was GOD who spoke it to him that it was not good for man to be alone. In our own lives we get things twisted and we decide when it is time for us to be in a relationship. So we reach out to others in our own loneliness, unfufillment and neediness and we get back from them what we think about our ownselves. If you are with someone that doesn't value, appreciate or love you in the right way it is because you FIRST think that way about you. You keep wanting and expecting God to change them when FIRST of all He wants to change you. See the truth is that when you have been processed, purged and purified and walking in the fullness of the Holy Ghost then you will discern that person that is not and has not been processed, purged or purified and is not right for you right now.
When you are in love with Jesus and walking in His love, His grace and His mercy then you want a companion that exemplifies those same qualities. You are not so desperate that you are willing to settle for anything or anyone other that God's absolute best for you.
Once you see the truth of Christ's love for you then you get revelation of your worth. Your confidence in your own greatness and specialness is so REAL that you are not willing or want to settle yourself for anything other than the best. Too many times when we don't love ourselves we settle for the caterpillar when God longs to give us the butterfly.
It is time to really KNOW and BELIEVE the truth about the person God has ordained and destined you to be and don't tolerate anything LESS when you know you want and what MORE what you deserve. The word says in 1 Corinthians 13:10 that when the perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.

This is not about you
Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. Father, glorify your name.
Whatever you are facing today I have a word from the Lord for you and it's that This is not about you. Whatever was done or happened to you is not your fault. It is not about something you did. You in no way deserve this. There are times when we take the actions of others and internalize them as being our fault. I don't know about you but the enemy always had me on the receiving end of some type of offense thinking what is it about me that caused this mess.
Stop thinking you invite chaos and confusion to your life. Start to think about yourself not just in a good way but a GOD way.
It is not because your looks, your personality, your upbringing. People do what they do because of who they are. We have to stop blaming ourselves all the time.
A lot of times I was my own worst enemy in that I thought everything was always my fault. Jesus went to the cross knowing that He deserve NONE of it but yet endured ALL of it.
Repent for your sins and move on.
It's that as a believer in Him I am free from guilt and condemnation.
It's in Him that I am worthy of all good things. I am justified and redeemed.
We have to know how to value ourselves and tolerate NOTHING other than God's absolute best for our lives.
Again let me say you didn't ask for this. Are you feeling disappointed, betrayed or let down? Most people think that trust and love is something that someone has to earn and all I can say is that I am glad that was not the attitude of Christ. I make a choice to love unconditionally and trust openly because I trust in grace of God to keep me from harm. Yes we do need to guard our heart and there is a way even in openness we can do this without closing others out. Trust God not man.
As a believer I trust that anything that comes to me good or bad HAD to first get pass My Father and if He allowed it will be used for my good and His glory. That is a promise from Him.
Decree today that:
You are the Head. You are on TOP. That is all you need to respond to. Let go of the negativity. Just be still because in your life that Father is getting ready to glorify HIs name. All those around you are about to see the goodness and power of the God you serve. Your seeds of obedience to God have NOW produce a harvest of glory. Stay encouraged, be hopeful and remain in faith. The time of favor is NOW.

Put it out BUT keep it out
There are some conflicts in your life that are only still burning because you keep fanning the flames. Let the embers from the devils work die out or dash it again with water of God's word. When God has delivered you from something for a little while after it the enemy will offer the enticement to you to see if you still want it.
Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burden again by a yoke of slavery. When a certain tactic of the enemy has worked so well and for so long he is hard pressed to give up that hold in your life. Be free and stay free. I myself have known some really smart and decent guys fall into the trap of getting in and out of the jail system. One of them told me one time jail punishes you but it doesn't rehabilitate you. You come out worse than you are because you have talked and learned from more harden criminals. As well now you have a criminal record and no one wants to give you a job. So you fall back into the trap of going back to as a means of making money the very thing that landed you in jail in the first place. It is a really sad cycle that so many people fall victim too. That is the same for some of us believers. I use to battle depression personally and privately for a long time. And some mornings for no particular reason the enemy will offer it to me as if it was a trip to Six Flags. Thank God those times are a rarity. Still it is during those times that I have to speak OUT LOUD OVER myself. Like David I have to tell my soul to bless the Lord and forget not his benefits. I have to speak it that I am yielded only to power of the Holy Ghost. Life and Death is in the POWER of your tongue. When you have like I have looked outside of yourself and right pass God for happiness then the enemy still taunts you with that If Only lie. You know the lie I am talking about. If only my marriage was better then for sure I would be happy. If only I made more money and could buy better clothes then for sure I would have more peace. If only I had a Benz and not a Buick then I know without a shadow of a doubt life would be amazing. Of course it more than OK to have petitions and requests to God for a better quality of life. But we can't make the blessings more IMPORTANT than the blesser. The truth is according to Matthew 5:45 To show that you are the children of your Father Who is in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the wicked and on the good, and makes the rain fall upon the upright and the wrongdoers [alike]. For the believer in Jesus Christ life is amazing in the warmth of summer and the coldness of the winter. 1 Samuel 2:7 The Lord sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and exalts. It is not what is OUTSIDE of us that causes of to have joy but the joy of the Lord (inside) is our strength. We have the power of the Holy Ghost on the inside of us. Don't let the devil burden you with those same lies again and again. If it is gone then it is to make room for the new. Trust God that it didn't happen to you but it happened for you. I decree again for you to stay free. God is has provided a way of escape for every temptation that tries and comes your way. In Jesus Name Be Blessed, Manie
